Breaking Bad "Rabid Dog"

Ack. Sorry I'm slacking! Was out and about yesterday for a warm and rainy holiday, and today I'm writing this on what may be my deathbed, for I have fallen ill. In fact, I'm using the Blogger app on my phone, which I don't think I've ever even opened before.

All I have to say for now is "The virtues of child poisoning" might be the hardest I've laughed at this show.

Please discuss in the comments. I'll catch up tomorrow.

  1. Pausing the episode to read the titles of books on the bookcase was the most fun ive had watching a show. That and the case of Smirnoff Ice you brought over.

  2. I was just thinking: When did Hank tell Gomez about the Walt shenanigans? Did I miss something....?

  3. it started with Gomey telling Hank about Jesse, but i agree when did Hank let Gomey in on Walt? There was the scene after the Jesse "confession" where Hank and Gomez are talking, Gomez said something like "i dont want to belive him, but i do" Jesse was still wearing red and Black, what was Gomez wearing?

  4. Yeah, I would guess Gomey first heard the whole story when they were talking to Jesse. I mean they were partners at the time, so I can understand Hank letting him in on it, especially since he'll end up being implicated a bit too.

And yes, DB will be satisfied to know that I'm leaning a little further towards the Hank is a bad dude side now. At first I thought the way he buckled him in was a sweet gesture. Now it seems more like he was protecting a valuable asset. I've done the same thing with a case of beer (or Smirnoff Ice) in the back seat of my car.

I also really liked Skylar, sipping a drink in a luxury hotel, basically ordering Walt to put a hit out on Jesse. Well I didn't like that she wants Jesse dead, but I like that she's becoming more of a badass. I'm wondering if Walt will die and she's going to end up the queen of the empire he created?

Ben, did you notice all the Stephen King on the bookshelf? Not sign of Under the Dome, unfortunately.

  5. I really don't like others finding out about Walt. I'm still rooting for him and view Hank as a bad dude.

Gomez was just wearing a white shirt and black pants... I was going to point that out during the episode but just reached for another Smirnoff Ice instead.
